Learning Outcomes Mastery View

Learning Outcomes Mastery View provides a visual summary of student achievement across course learning outcomes to identify strengths, gaps, and performance trends in assessment and instruction.

  1. From within a D2L course, select Grades.
  2. Select Mastery View.
    Mastery View button
  3. As course assessments are scored, Mastery View will populate.
  4. Learn more about the options within Mastery View:
    1. Mastery View Settings: Review and select a calculation option.
    2. Course Achievement Overview: Expand to view overall achievement of learning outcomes based on selected threshold settings.
    3. Publish All: Publish overall achievement of learning outcomes to students.

      Note:

      Students can view achievement for individual assessments in Class Progress or within assessment submissions, regardless of whether overall achievement is published.

    4. Student Achievement by Outcome: Select an achievement level to view individual student data for a specific outcome.
