Notes:

  • Setting special access date and time options for users in Special Access will not impact the date and time options set in the Restrictions Tab of the quiz.
  • You may setup multiple Special Access criteria within a quiz to meet the individual needs of students.
  1. Step 1
    From the Assessments menu within a D2L course, select Quizzes.
  2. Step 2
    Locate and select the Quiz Title.
  3. Step 3
    Select the Availability Dates & Conditions menu.
  4. Step 4
    Select Mange Special Access.
  5. Step 5
    Select one of the following options:
    1. Allow selected users special access to this quiz: Provides selected users access to the quiz with date, attempts, and/or time limit options outside of the standard quiz settings.
    2. Allow only users with special access to see this quiz: Restricts access to the quiz to users with special access only.
  6. Step 6
    Select the Add Users to Special Access.
    1. Under Availability, select the Has Start Date and/or Has End Date checkbox(es), and enter dates and times.
    2. Select a Timing preference.
    3. From the Attempts Allowed dropdown menu, select the number of attempts allowed.
    4. From the Users list, select the checkbox(es) for each student to apply the Special Access criterion.
    5. Select Save.

    Select Save and Close.
