Reminder! Learn more about new accessibility regulations for Audio Description for Video in D2L

Instructors, do you use video in your D2L course(s)? Federal Title II regulations require Audio Descriptions for pre-recorded videos containing essential visual information not expressed through audio to ensure they are fully accessible to blind and low-vision individuals beginning April 24, 2026.  Attend one of the following learning opportunities to learn more about Audio Descriptions:

eLearning Live! Sessions: Online informational sessions hosted in Webex to learn more about Audio Descriptions, how to evaluate existing videos, and how to build-in Audio Descriptions for future videos.

Audio Description for Video Office Hours: In-Person sessions in eLearning (TLC 1101) to get one-on-one assistance with Audio Descriptions.
