Reminder! Audio Descriptions Required for Videos in Active D2L Courses

  • Effective April 24, 2026, Federal Title II regulations require Audio Descriptions for pre-recorded videos containing essential visual information not expressed through audio to ensure content is fully accessible to blind and low-vision individuals.
  • If you currently use video in your D2L courses, or plan to in the future, review the Audio Description for Video resources, trainings, and more to ensure your video content is compliant with Federal Title II Audio Description regulations.
