- Need to get started sooner? Request a Master Course .

D2L Email Change will take effect.

Reminder of What's Changing
- D2L Email will become "send only".
- Only the "Sent" folder will remain in D2L.
- Action Required: Manually save important emails in D2L (i.e. grades disputes) before they are permanently deleted.

D2L Email Change Workflow Reminders
- Start all emails from the D2L Classlist.
- Emails automatically populate the subject line with the course title and CRN for course identification. Do not delete the course title or CRN from the subject line.
- Faculty receive and reply to student emails in LCC Outlook.
- Students receive and reply to faculty emails in LCC Gmail.

Reminder of What's Changing
Reminder! Audio Descriptions Required for Videos in Active D2L Courses
- Effective April 24, 2026, Federal Title II regulations require Audio Descriptions for pre-recorded videos containing essential visual information not expressed through audio to ensure content is fully accessible to blind and low-vision individuals.
- If you currently use video in your D2L courses, or plan to in the future, review the Audio Description for Video resources, trainings, and more to ensure your video content is compliant with Federal Title II Audio Description regulations.
