Add First Day Inclusive Access (FDIA)

For faculty who have arranged to use the First Day Inclusive Access (FDIA) for their textbook, students must be given the option to opt out of FDIA. The Course Materials hyperlink is the method for students to access the course materials for many ebooks and for all students to opt out of FDIA.

  1. From within a D2L course, select Content.
  2. From the Table of Contents, select a module.
  3. From the Existing Activities dropdown menu, select External Learning Tools.
    Select External Learning Tools.
  4. Under Add Activity, select Course Materials.

    Note:

    The Course Materials link will take students to the BNC Dashboard.


    Select Course Materials
