Add Course Materials for FDIA provides instructors using First Day Inclusive Access (FDIA) with the required functionality for students to opt in or opt out of the program.

Note:

For instructors using First Day Inclusive Access (FDIA) for textbooks, the Course Materials link is required to provide students with the option to opt out of FDIA.

  1. Step 1
    From within a D2L course, select Content.
  2. Step 2
    From the Table of Contents, select a Content module.
  3. Step 3
    From the Existing Activities dropdown menu, select External Learning Tools.
    Select External Learning Tools.
  4. Step 4
    Under Add Activity, select Course Materials.

    Note:

    The Course Materials link will take students to the BNC Dashboard.


    Select Course Materials.
