Adding a Co-Editor to a Kaltura Video
  1. From the D2L My Home page, select My Media.
  2. Locate the video you wish to add a co-editor, then select the Edit icon.
    Select the Edit icon in the upper right corner.
  3. Select the Collaboration Tab.
    Select the collaboration tab to add collaborators to the video.
  4. Select Add Collaborator.
  5. Search for a user by entering their LCC User ID.
  6. Select the checkbox for Co-Editor.
      Please note the following permissions allow:
    • Co-Editor: Allows the selected user to edit the entry’s details and metadata, trim media, edit captions, and edit chapters and slides. Editors cannot delete media or add new co-editors and co-publishers.
    • Co-Publisher: Allows the selected user to publish the video.
    • Co-Viewer: Allows the selected users to view the video.

    Enter the username of each user and the level of access they should be granted.
  7. Select Add.
Removing a Co-Editor from a Kaltura Video
  1. Locate the video you wish to remove a co-editor, then select the Edit icon.
    Select the Edit icon in the upper right corner.
  2. Select the Collaboration Tab.
    Select the collaboration tab to add collaborators to the video.
  3. Select the X to remove the collaboration permissions for a user.
  4. Confirm the deletion request by selecting Delete.
    Select delete on the User you wish to remove.
