Save Important Emails in D2L Inbox Before May 13, 2026
Faculty! Save important emails in D2L (i.e. grade disputes) before they are permanently deleted on May 13, 2026.
- On May 13, 2026, D2L will become a “send only” environment.
- All email in the D2L inbox, custom folders, and trash will be permanently deleted, and neither eLearning nor ITS will be able to retrieve them.
- Only the "Sent" folder will remain in D2L.

forwarding and saving emails from D2L, and using the new D2L Email workflow by locating
and viewing email in LCC Outlook.
