Instructors can export course components from a course, import course components into a course, or copy course components from another course into a course.

  • Copy: Instructors can copy course materials from a previous course, or from a colleague’s course into a course.  Instructors can set up a standard Master Course to copy into new course(s) each semester.  
  • Import: Instructors can import Content provided by vendors, or created in a content creation program (like Respondus).  The file containing the components must be in a format supported by the Import tool.
  • Export: Instructors can export content to reuse these components in another D2L Learning Environment, or to store the components and then re-import them into another course offering or template at a later date.
