Reminder to Instructors

• D2L Email was updated in May 2026, and is now "send only".
• Start all emails from the D2L Classlist.
• Emails automatically populate the subject line with the course title and CRN for course identification. Do not delete the course title or CRN from the subject line.
• Faculty receive and reply to student emails in LCC Outlook.
• Students receive and reply to faculty emails in LCC Gmail.
• Can't find an email in Outlook? If you use Outlook Folders and Rules, ensure you are checking the correct folder and that your rule is set up properly.  For more information, view Create an Email Rule in Outlook for Incoming D2L Emails ​.
