Assignment Submission

Assignment Submission provides students the option to complete an assignment by adding a file, recording audio, or recording video depending on the submission type set by the instructor.

Add a File
  1. From the Assessments menu within a D2L course, select Assignments.
  2. Select the assignment.
  3. Select Add a File.

    Note:

    Assignments may have restrictions on allowed file types; check for Allowed File Extensions.

  4. Select Upload.
  5. Navigate to the file(s) to upload.
  6. Select the File(s).

    Note:

    Multiple files can be attached to a single Assignment.

  7. Select Open.
  8. Select Add.

  9. Select Submit.

    Note:

    A successful assignment submission will generate a confirmation receipt to be sent to your D2L email account. If a confirmation receipt is not received, verify that you selected Submit.

Record Audio or Video
  1. From the Assessments menu within a D2L course, select Assignments.
  2. Select the assignment.
  3. Select Record Audio or Record Video.

  4. In the Media Capture window, select New Recording to start recording audio or video.

  5. Select Stop Recording when finished.
  6. Select Add.
  7. Enter in a Title and Description of the recording.
  8. Select Add.
  9. Select Submit.
