Grading Discussions

BEST PRACTICE:

To prohibit students from posting to a Forum or Topic after a deadline has passed, it is recommended to set the Forum or Topic to β€œVisible with submission restricted after end” instead of β€œHidden after end” it as this will allow students to view existing posts without being able to add new posts.
  1. From the Assessments or Communication menu, select Discussions. Discussions selected from the Communications menu on a Desktop or Mobile Device.
  2. Select the drop-down menu next to the topic title you wish to grade. Note: To learn more about linking grade items to Discussions in D2L, view Linking to Grade Items.
