Navigate to the Assignment, Discussion, or Quiz you wish to link to the gradebook.
From the drop-down menu next to the item title, select Edit.
For Discussions: From the Assessments Tab, scroll down to the Grade Item section.
For Assignments and Quizzes:
Enter the total number of points possible in the Score Out Of text field.
Expand the In Grades menu, and select Choose from Grades.
From the Grade Item menu, select the Grade Item to be linked with the assignment, or if needed, create a new grade item.
NOTE: Quizzes will require that the “Automatic Grade” and “Auto Export to Grades” options are selected.
