Exempting Kaltura Videos from the Storage Management Procedure

Per the Kaltura Storage Management Procedure, any video created with Kaltura that has not been accessed or played in four years will be deleted from user accounts. Users can elect to permanently retain a Kaltura video by:

  1. From the D2L My Home page, select the Online Tools menu, then select My Media.
  2. Locate the video you wish to save and make exempt.
  3. Select the video thumbnail and/or video title to open the video.
  4. Select the Actions menu, then select Edit. Highlighting the edit option under the actions menu for a video.
  5. On the Details tab, select Yes from the Retention menu.
  6. Select Save. Highlighting the Yes option under the Retention menu for a video and the Save button.
