Adding Files From Google Drive Into D2L Content via Upload Files

    Notes:
  • To add a file from Google Drive into Content in D2L, you will have to login using your LCC Gmail Google account when prompted.
  • Adding a Google Doc via Upload Files automatically converts the file to an Abode PDF, while a Microsoft Word document uploaded to Google Drive will remain in a MS Word file format.
  1. From the course home page, select Content. Select Content from navigation.
  2. Navigate to and select the module you wish to add a file to.
  3. From the Upload/Create drop-down menu, select Upload Files.
    Select Upload Files from the New drop-down menu.
  4. Select Google Drive.
    Note: If Google Drive is not an option, first Link your LCC Google Apps account with D2L.
    Select Google Drive from the Add a File menu.
  5. Select the checkbox for the file(s) you wish to upload.
    Note: Adding a Google Doc via Upload Files automatically converts the file to an Abode PDF.
    Select the checkbox for each item you wish to upload.
  6. Select Add.
  7. The Google Doc will be added to Content as a PDF File.
    The Google files will be added as a PDF into the content module or folder.
