Post to Discussion
  1. From the Assessments or Communication menu within a D2L course, select Discussions.
  2. Locate and select the Topic Title.
  3. Select Start a New Thread.
    Select Start a New Thread.
  4. Enter a Subject into the text field.
  5. Enter Text into the HTML Editor.
  6. Optional: Attach a file, or record video and audio.
  7. Select Post.
Post Audio or Video to Discussion
  1. From the Assessments or Communication menu within a D2L course, select Discussions.
  2. Locate and select the Topic Title.
  3. Select Start a New Thread.
    Select Start a New Thread.
  4. From the Record menu within the Attachments section, select Record Audio or Record Video.
    Select Record Audio or Record Video.
  5. Optional: Select Allow to access the computer’s microphone or camera with myd2l.lcc.edu.
  6. When ready to begin recording, select New Recording.

    Note:

    Recorded message must be less than thirty minutes.

  7. Record the video or audio.
  8. When finished, select Stop Recording.
  9. Select Add.
  10. Optional: Add title and description of audio recording.
  11. Select Post.
