Post to Discussion
  1. Step 1
    From the Assessments or Communication menu within a D2L course, select Discussions.
  2. Step 2
    Locate and select the Topic Title.
  3. Step 3
    Select Start a New Thread.
    Select Start a New Thread.
  4. Step 4
    Enter a Subject into the text field.
  5. Step 5
    Enter Text into the HTML Editor.
  6. Step 6
    Optional: Attach a file, or record video and audio.
  7. Step 7
    Select Post.
Post Audio or Video to Discussion
  1. Step 1
    From the Assessments or Communication menu within a D2L course, select Discussions.
  2. Step 2
    Locate and select the Topic Title.
  3. Step 3
    Select Start a New Thread.
    Select Start a New Thread.
  4. Step 4
    From the Record dropdown menu within the Attachments section, select Record Audio or Record Video.
    Select Record Audio or Record Video.
  5. Step 5
    Optional: Select Allow to access the computer’s microphone or camera with myd2l.lcc.edu.
  6. Step 6
    When ready to begin recording, select New Recording.

    Note:

    Recorded message must be less than thirty minutes.

    Record the video or audio.
  8. Step 8
    When finished, select Stop Recording.
  9. Step 9
    Select Add.
  10. Step 10
    Optional: Add title and description of audio recording.
  11. Step 11
    Select Post.
