LCC provides students with two email accounts to help ensure they receive timely and relevant communication from Instructors, students, various departments around LCC, and college administrators.
- D2L Email – Accessed through D2L, LCCs Course Management System and online learning platform. Used primarily for communication with instructors and students.
- LCC Gmail – Accessed through MyLCC. Used primarily for communication from college administration and other departments.

The D2L Email tool allows students to send and receive email within a course and D2L. Students can also organize received email using folders and store email addresses using the Address Book.
