Export Files to Office Format
D2L Assignment Folders do not currently support previewing or reading Apple Pages, Keynote, or Numbers files. However, each of these applications can export to Microsoft Office formats: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. To ensure full compatibility with D2L, assignments created in Pages, Keynote, or Numbers should be exported to Word, PowerPoint, and Excel formats.
Export Pages to Word
- From within the Pages menu, select File.
- Select Export To and select Word.
- Select Save... on the Export Your Document window.
- Enter a name for the exported file and choose a location to save on your computer.
- Select Export.
Export Keynote to PowerPoint
- From within the Keynote menu, select File.
- Select Export To and select PowerPoint.
- Select Save... on the Export Your Presentation window.
- Enter a name for the exported file and choose a location to save on your computer.
- Select Export.
Export Numbers to Excel
- From within the Numbers menu, select File.
- Select Export To and select Excel.
- On the Export Your Spreadsheet window, select to save Excel Worksheets either as One per sheet or One per table.
- Select Save... on the Export Your Presentation window.
- Enter a name for the exported file and choose a location to save on your computer.
- Select Export.
