Installing Kaltura Capture Recording Software

Install Kaltura Capture on a PC

  1. From the D2L My Home screen, select the Online Tools drop-down menu, then select My Media.
  2. Select Add New, then select Kaltura Capture. From the Add New menu, select Kaltura Capture.
  3. Select Download for Windows. Note: Kaltura is not available for Mobile Devices. Select option to Download for Windows.
  4. Run the downloaded install file. When prompted the app isn’t verified, select Install anyway. Select Install anyway.
  5. On the Kaltura Capture Setup menu, select Next. Select Next.
  6. When prompted to select a location for the Recording folder, select Next. Select Next.
  7. Select Finish.

Install Kaltura Capture on a Mac

  1. From the D2L My Home screen, select My Media.
  2. Select Add New, then select Create Media.
    3. From the Kaltura Capture drop down, Add New.
  3. Select Download for Mac. Note: Kaltura is not available for Mobile Devices. Download the App for the Mac.
  4. From within the Downloads folder, double click the installation file.
  5. In the installation window, drag the Kaltura Capture file into the Applications folder. Install Kaltura Capture by dragging the app icon into the Applications Folder.
  6. After the installation is complete, close the installation window.
  7. The installation process is now complete. Select the back button in your browser to return to My Media.
