Moderating Discussions

NOTE: Moderating Discussions applies only to discussion topics with the following option selected: “Posts must be approved before they display in the topic”.

  1. From the Assessments or Communication menu, select Discussions.
  2. Select the Number next to the alert triangle to view and approve new posts. Alert triangle alerting an instructor to view and approve new posts.
  3. Select the drop-down menu for the thread you wish to approve. NOTE: Unapproved threads will be identified by an orange bar on the left side of the thread.
  4. Select Approve Thread. To approve a thread, select Approve Thread from the drop-down menu.
